TENNIS star Tim Henman made a surprise appearance at The Old Ham Tree pub in Holt on Saturday.
The British number one was a guest at a wedding in the village and shocked staff and customers when he walked into the pub during the afternoon.
Tim was besieged by autograph hunters who grabbed menus and beer mats for him to sign.
Landlord Mike Smith said: "I was on holiday in Majorca at the time, but staff gave me a ring while I was lying by the pool.
"I couldn't believe it, as I always miss out on things like this. I heard that people went bananas when they saw him."
Tim isn't the only celebrity to come to the pub The Cook Report's Roger Cook has also been in to order drinks.
Mr Smith said: "I might think about putting up a board for celebrities to sign if this continues, and I'll try to be in next time."
