Highworth Town, already £1,500 to the good after their FA Cup exploits, are looking for a £7,500 payout if they manage to beat Cinderford Town at home in this weekend's first qualifying round.

Club spokesman Clive Webb said: "It's another very big game for the club, and could give us a tremendous cash boost. At this stage last season we beat Brislington, and went on to entertain Weymouth in the second qualifying round.

"Hopefully there'll be another big crowd to cheer John Fisher's side to victory and if successful, who knows who we will get in the next round, which is drawn on Monday."

Highworth boss Fisher will be without three experienced players in Dave Webb and Matt Jack who are away, and Mick Casey, struggling to make it back after a knee injury.

"We have got a big squad so we will be able to fill in okay, but we'll miss their experience. I expect Cinderford, from the Doc Marten's League, will be the favourites. I'm told they are about the same standard as Cirencester Town, but a bit more physical. Still, if we perform as good as we did against Ciren, we could get a result. We will be trying our hardest."
