TOP drummer Mark Mondesir is appearing in Swindon. Mark has played with saxophonist Courtney Pine and singer Bryan Ferry and is set to add the launch of a drum school to his accolades.
Guests will be able to chat with the musician when Holmes Music Shop in Faringdon Road launches its new drum school on Tuesday.
Paul Holmes, owner of the music shop, said: "Mark will take to the stage and show the audience exactly why he is considered one of the world's top drumming performers.
"There will be a chance to find out more from Mark and enrol on a Drumsense course.
"This marks the exciting start of the school and new opportunities for people to learn to play the drums."
Colin Woolway, founder of the Drumsense teaching project, will be demonstrating the concepts of the teaching methods used alongside Mark.
The event at the store starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £8 and are available from Holmes Music on 01793 534095 or from Rob Cooper, Swindon Drumsense tutor, on 07970 012241.
