WHEELCHAIR users will be taking part in a sponsored walk around Swindon to raise money for cancer-sufferer Charlie Jarvis.
Members of the public are invited to join in en route which takes walkers from Old Town to the town centre, along to the County Ground and ends up at the Lawns where they will do ten laps of the pond.
Walkers will meet outside the First City Nursing Services at 29 Victoria Road tomorrow at 9.30am.
A bouncy castle, a magician and Smartie Pants the Clown will provide entertainment at the end of the walk when there will also be a draw for the raffle.
Proceeds of the event will go to helping the four-year-old who suffers from a rare form of childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma. This affects specialised nerve cells called neural crest cells which are involved in the development of the nervous system.
Charlie has been placed on a pioneering drug treatment programme at the Bruzinski Clinic in Texas.
She has already been to America once and may need a second visit depending on whether the cancer has spread.
