AN exhibition focusing on Corsham's historic wool trade has opened at the town's Tourist and Heritage Centre.
Called Wool, Wheels and Wealth, it looks at the people involved the industry and the economic benefits it brought to the West Country during the 17th and 18th Centuries.
It also highlights the buildings in Corsham that were once important centres for the spinning and weaving that took place at the time.
Visitors can test their knowledge of the trade with a series of questions and facts, and children can pick up a specially-created activity sheet.
The exhibition complements the information displayed in the permanent wool gallery, where visitors can learn about the techniques used to produce the cloth that brought wealth to Corsham.
The exhibition runs until November 30.
