Adventurer David Hempleman-Adams is waiting for a break in the weather before setting off on his latest record-breaking attempt.
The 45-year-old Swindon-born explorer is currently in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, waiting to take off in a wicker basket balloon, which he will attempt to fly across the Atlantic to Europe. If successful, he will set a new endurance record.
