WOOTTON Bassett Ladies enjoyed a 45-10 victory over vel Barbarians at Stoneover Lane.
The home side opened the scoring early on when second row Kate King drove over.
Excellent attacking pressure from Bassett resulted in a further four tries from scrum-half Lisa Carter, No 8 Sandra Toole, wing Ellie Faulkener, and centre Bev Webster, Kate King converting all but one of these.
Leading 33-0 at the break, Bassett stretched their lead with full-back Steph Watts scoring and King converting.
The visitors then came into the game with two tries in quick succession but this only served to fire the Stoneover Lane outfit and with some good running rugby from both forwards and backs, winger Faulkener ran in for her second try.
