WOOTTON Bassett's second string edged out their Redingensians counterparts 15-13 in their weekend encounter.
Redingensians opened the scoring after five minutes but the game was held up soon after when the home side's prop suffered injury in a ruck and was air ambulanced to hospital.
Once play resumed, Bassett equalised when full-back Phil Woodcock dived over in the corner.
A drop goal left Bassett trailing 8-5 at the break but they hit back in the second half, scrum-half Edwin Verplank with a try.
Redingensians countered with a try but the visitors, trailing 13-10, had the final say as No 8 Robin Smith crashed over.
Bassett's colts ran out 39-0 winners over Salisbury in their weekend encounter.
Yet to concede a point this year, Bassett ran in seven tries on the way to victory.
Full-back Duncan Fulling got the first, the others coming from replacement left wing Daniel David (2), scrum-half Tom Prior (2), openside James Cameron, and centre Daniel Jones.
David, who switched to outside half, kicked the balance of points.
