A 6FT blue hairy monster called Sully and his shorter one-eyed friend Mike are the latest patients to take up residence in the children's ward at Princess Margaret Hospital.
The giant versions of the monsters, used to promote the video release of Disney's Monsters Inc, were donated by Asda Wal-Mart in Haydon Wick.
Staff at the store, as well as many other businesses around Swindon, have been taking part in a week of fundraising activities for the new Great Western Hospital, which opens in November.
The Evolution Appeal to buy equipment for the new hospital stands at £1.5 million.
Fundraisers hope to top £2.5 million by the end of the year.
Appeal spokeswoman, Carol Taylor, said: "The children love the new additions to the ward.
"They put bandages on and think they are great because all the kids know about these monster things. And the staff love them as well."
