TICKETS are now on sale for the eighth Eddie Cochran Rock 'n' Roll Festival being held from September 27 to 29 at The Olympiad Leisure Centre, Chippenham.
The unbeatable line-up includes a great list of British and American performers alongside Fifties record memorabilia and clothing stalls.
Headlining on Friday night will be Jet Harris, former original bass player of The Shadows.
Saturday will begin with a classic car cruise followed by a jam-packed day of music mayhem.
The Big Bopper Junior will be making his first UK appearance and will pay tribute to his father through his music.
For all those Elvis fans there will be a guest appearance by Scotty Moore, who recorded and toured with Elvis Presley in the late 1950s.
Eddie Cochran's nephew Bobby, who is rated one of the top 12 guitar players in the world, will be appearing live on stage with his band.
Other performers include Rocky Burnette, son of rock 'n' roll pioneer Johnny Burnette, Rebel Dean who portrayed Eddie Cochran in the hit West End musical 'Rockin on Heaven's door' and Darrel Higham with The Enforcers.
The High Flyers with DJ Rich Marsh will be performing on the Sunday.
This year's event will include a tribute to Sharon Sheeley who died in Los Angeles on May 17 this year.
Ms Sheeley had accompanied Eddie Cochran on his first ever UK tour.
On Sunday there will be a festival service at St Mary's School followed by a walk to the Eddie Cochran memorial plaque on Rowden Hill. For ticket information contact The Eddie Cochran Appreciation Society on (01249) 656350.
