People living near Lyneham RAF base are being warned that night flying exercises being run on Tuesday and Wednesday (September 24 & 25) between 8pm and 11pm may cause a disturbance.
Lyneham is to be used to train flight crews of the four C-17 transport aircraft based at RAF Brize Norton in the use of night vision goggles. A Lyneham spokesman said the flights may cause a disburbance and added: "We apologise but hope that the public will understand the need for this training."
