MELKSHAM Town avenged their recent FA Cup defeat at the hands of Bishop Sutton on Saturday, coming out on top in a seven goal thriller at The Conigre.
Robbie Lardner's side found themselves two down after 13 minutes, but battled back and remain unbeaten in the Premier Division this term.
Michael Adams and Neil Ward put the away side in charge, but Luke Jones continued his fine early season form when he pulled a goal back after 23 minutes.
Andy Sandell levelled matters five minutes after the restart and Jones' second put Melksham in front for the first time.
Dean Maggs equalised for Bishop Sutton moments later, but Nigel Tripp headed home Ben Sammut's corner to clinch three points for the home side.
Melksham are without a game on Saturday, but entertain Backwell United on Tuesday night, kick off 7.30pm.
Westbury United had a blank weekend, but host Premier Division Elmore in the second qualifying round of the FA Vase on Saturday and make the short trip to local rivals Corsham Town on Monday night, kick off 7.30pm.
