CRICKLADE Youth made a spectacular start to their season in the under 17s-18s division of the Wiltshire Times and News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League.

Ben Carter gave them an early lead in their home match against Calne Town Youth and went on to complete a hat-trick as Cricklade ran out 6-0 winners. Tom Green and Mark Wimble (2) scored the other goals.

Under 15s Red Division

THE first half of the match between home side Devizes Town Youth and Westbury went all the visitors' way with Martin Aston scoring a hat-trick on his debut for the club.

The second half was a more even game with Daniel Baker scoring a consolation goal for Devizes to make the final score 3-1.

Trowbridge Town Youth earned their first win of the season away to FC Chippenham, running out 6-1 winner, with Ben Hogg replying for Chippenham.

Amesbury Juniors remain unbeaten following their fruitful visit to Pewsey Vale. A fairly close first half, with Amesbury taking a 3-1 lead, was followed by their domination in the second half resulting in a 10-2 victory. Marvin Brown (3), David Sage (3), William Cadge, Richard Dyba, Luke Denton and Michael Whitston scored for Amesbury, with Alex Smith and Matthew Davenport replying for Pewsey.

AFC Corsham took the lead in their home game against Shaw Youth with a goal from Lee. Shaw were up to the challenge and were back level by the break. Corsham regained the lead with a second from Lee but once again Shaw fought back and the game finished level at 2-2.

A bright start with sharp finishing saw Marlborough Town take command in their game at Hilperton, with goals from Ben Crame, Josh Forster (2), Zahir Bhatia and Chris Deane giving them a 5-0 half time lead. Cameron Henley pulled one back for Hilperton from the penalty spot but further goals from Deane, Nick Smith and Joe Hines helped Marlborough to an 8-1 win.

Under 15s Blue Division

TROWBRIDGE Town Youth put on a solid team performance in their 6-0 home win against Chippenham Town Rangers.

Matthew Cooper (2), Daniel Shanley, Matthew Bonser, Luke Scott and Sam Mckinder scored the goals.

A fair but tight game between home side Bemerton Heath Harlequins and Westinghouse Youth resulted in a 4-2 win for the home side.

Westinghouse never gave up and got their second goal with the last kick of the game. Josh David and Johnny Moriarty scored for Westinghouse.

Under 16s Blue Division

BATH Arsenal got off to a winning start in their first match of the season with a convincing home win against AFC Corsham.

Corsham were up for the challenge having their first shot on goal within the first minute but despite their efforts it was Bath that took the lead in the fourth minute through Adam Heath.

Josh Brigham doubled their lead on ten minutes before Dave and Ashley Isaac got on the score sheet to make it 4-0 at the break. The second half started much like the first with Bath making their mark early on through Dave. Corsham never gave up and continued to push the ball forward but a sixth for the home side through Blake sealed Corsham's fate.

Amesbury Juniors continue to struggle for their first points following their narrow 3-2 defeat at home to Chippenham Town Rangers.

Under 16s Red Division

MYLES Hickton got his season goal tally off to a spectacular start by scoring eight of the nine goals for Lavington Bandits in their 9-1 home win against Box Youth. Kian Enderby also scored for Lavington.

Barford Hornets got off to a great start with an early goal from Steve Coombes in their game at Devizes Town Youth. But it was downhill all the way after that, with Devizes finishing 19-1 winners. Ashley Wright (3), Craig Kennedy (4), Jason Lucas, Nathan Moffat (4), Oliver White, Robert Mitchell and Daniel Kingsbury (5) scored for Devizes.

Anthony Packer scored for Malmesbury in their 1-1 draw against visitors Amesbury Juniors.

Under 14s Red Division

WARMINSTER Highbury travelled to Corsham and recorded their second defeat of the season.

The boys held their heads high and accepted defeat gracefully in a well battled match which finished 12-2. A well mannered and supportive crowd enjoyed the game. Michael Clarke (6), Zach Sulley (2), Aaron Neal (3) and Alex Mitchell scored for Corsham, with Josh Davies and Tom Davie replying for Highbury.

Castle Combe Colts and visitors FC Chippenham cancelled each other out in an exciting 4-4 draw. Tim Kershaw (3) and Don Gregory scored for Chippenham.

Ben Butterfield scored two in each half for Chippenham Town Rangers in their 5-2 home win against Amesbury Juniors. Sam Jones also scored for the home side.

Warminster Hornets move to the top of the table following their convincing 13-0 home win over Lavington Bandits.

The game between Marlborough Town and Bradford on Avon stood all square at 0-0 at the break but a very keenly contested second half saw Bradford go home with the points with a final score of 3-2. Joe Brace and man-of-the-match Andy Neale scored for Marlborough.

Under 14s Blue Division

AFTER a tense start Stratton Juniors got back to their winning ways in their home game against Chippenham Town Youth.

Stratton dominated the first half but led by a single goal at the break through Large. Whitbread and Galati added two more in the early minutes of the second half and from then on the result was never in doubt. Large bagged two more to complete his hat-trick, with Whitbread scoring his second and Stratton's sixth to leave the final score at 6-1 to the home side.

Trowbridge Town Youth held on to a 3-2 lead with just ten minutes to go in their away game against AFC Corsham but Corsham never gave up and scored two more to finish 4-3 winners. Jason Povey and Toby Dawson (2) scored for Trowbridge.

Westbury Youth went 1-0 up early on in their game against Devizes Town Youth but the visitors hit back and were ahead 2-1 at the interval. Devizes continued their run taking their lead to 4-1 before Westbury scored two late goals to leave the game at 4-3 to the visitors. Dan Sloane (3) and Luke Hopper scored for Devizes, with Matt Sharp, Kierran Stone and Lee Meaden (penalty) replying for Westbury.

Under 13s Blue Division

FC CHIPPENHAM'S home game against Trowbridge Wanderers paralleled their under 14s, with another 4-4 draw.

Jack Woollings (2), Marc Blake and Tom Boreham scored for Chippenham.

Shaw and Whitley ran out 9-0 winners against AFC Corsham with goals from P Tye (2), A Simms (2), S Bennison (2), J Coltas, W Hibbard and L Jackson.

L Brown scored both goals for Chippenham Town Youth in their 2-0 away win against Trowbridge Town Youth.

Under 13s Red Division

DEVIZES Blues kicked off in their home game against Trowbridge Town Youth with a goal in the eighth minute after some early pressure from Trowbridge.

The game was evenly balanced throughout the first half, but Devizes doubled their lead just before the break. Three goals in quick succession furthered the home side's lead and with two more midway through the second half their victory was sealed with a 7-0 final score. Aaron Rowles (3), James Muir (2), Oliver Sivayer and Marcus Rossi scored for the Blues.

Castle Combe Colts earned their first points of the season with a 4-0 away win against Melksham Park 2nds. J O'Keefe (3) and S Mullin scored the goals.

Under 12s Blue Division

A TENSE but very exciting game between FC Chippenham and visitors Bradford on Avon produced 12 goals, with the two sides taking a point each in a 6-6 final score. Craig Berry (5) and Kyle Braide scored for FC Chippenham.

In another high scoring game between home side Warminster Highbury and Devizes Town Youth the spoils were shared with with a final score of 4-4. Josh Lewis, C Haggerty (2) and J Haggerty scored for Highbury.

Under 12s Red Division

WHITE Horse Juniors move up into second in the table following their 3-3 draw against visitors Castle Combe Colts 2nds. C Blewitt, C Ewlers and A Whytock scored for White Horse.

Melksham Park ran out 7-3 home winners against visitors FC Chippenham 2nds, with goals from N Trott (3), J Williams (3) and M Jenkins.

Tom Young scored both goals for Chippenham Town Rangers in their home game against Bromham which finished 3-2 to the visitors. Bromham's goals came from W House, J Rosen and S Cotterill.

Under 11s Division Three

GREEN Baize Youth continue to dominate following their confident 14-1 home win against AFC Corsham.

J Brown (4), B Bowden (4), S Packer, R Merchant, M Cheetham, P Jeffries, A Bedwell and M Taylor scored for Green Baize.

Trowbridge Town Youth remain unbeaten after running out 7-1 winners away to Bath Arsenal. T McKinder (2), M Flyn (3), J Jordan and J Hiscocks scored for Trowbridge, with A Dixon replying for Bath.
