DEVIZES trader Alex Duffey is urging people to take part in his appeal to send shoeboxes full of goods to Romania at the end of October. Mr Duffey has organised a shoebox collection for the Romanian Challenge Appeal for the past three years. Last year, almost 500 shoeboxes were handed in.
Shoeboxes should be filled with toiletries, toys and crayons and handed in at Mr Duffey's shop, Alex's Pound World in Maryport Street before the end of next month. They will be taken to orphanages in Romania.
