MINETY notched up a massive 71 points in their first Dorset and Wilts Division Two North game of the season, playing against a spirited but understrength side from Colerne.
Number eight Paul Harrington scored a hat trick of tries, full back Luke Huckin ran in two, and there were also tries for wingers Ian Northcott and Simon Barrett, flankers Charlie Gawthropp and James Smith, scrumhalf Andy Brown and centre Gareth Dyer.
Minety travel to Hungerford on Saturday for a Powergen Junior Vase tie. The second XV, without a game at the weekend, play host to Westbury 2nds.
