FEW people will be reassured by Education Secretary Estelle Morris's promise of an inquiry into the award of A-level grades.
Particulalry worrying are the revelations that massaging of results happens almost every year.
The practice must stop. It is not fair. High grade work should mean high grade exam results.
Some other way must be found of evening out the pressures on university places.
