SAFECLEAN franchisee Robert Barton cleaned up at the company's business awards after scooping the prized customer commitment award.
Robert Barton, whose patch includes Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Westbury and Melksham, was named as the franchisee who has achieved the highest levels of customer service.
He was judged, through customer response cards sent to head office by clients, on the areas of quality of work, efficiency of service, operator helpfulness and value for money.
Mr Barton said he was delighted to receive the award.
He said: "I always aim for 100 per cent customer satisfaction and the response from my customers is one of the most satisfying aspects of my work.
"The response from customers who have come back to me has been a real highlight, telling me to carry on doing what I have been doing because they have been thrilled with the work."
Mr Barton, a keen walker in his spare time, has received recommendations from satisfied customers since the introduction of the response cards.
Managing director David Doig, said: "This award is given to the franchisee who has achieved the highest levels of customer service.
"The response of Robert's customers to his work has been outstanding and recognised at head office and he thoroughly deserves his award."
Mr Barton, who runs the business with his wife Sue, said the aim now was to "drive the business onwards and upwards and to be the best carpet and upholstery cleaner in my local area."
