PEOPLE in the business community have been asked to add their views to a study on the impact climate change has been having on the south west's economy, society and environment.
Predicted changes for the south west include: a warmer region with temperatures up 5C by the 2080s with higher summer temperatures and cold winters becoming rarer; wetter winters and drier summers.
The draft study was carried out by the South West Climate Change Impacts Partnership, which thinks changes for businesses could include new markets in tourism, leisure, outdoor activities, food and drink, renewable energy and environmental monitoring equipment.
A final report will be launched in January.
