A 30-YEAR-OLD Westbury man denied a charge of beating up his girlfriend after a drunken argument.
Stephen Bosley, of Campion Close, admitted charges of driving over the legal drink-drive limit, taking a Ford Mondeo without consent, driving without a licence and driving with no insurance, when he appeared before Trowbridge magistrates on Thursday.
He denied a charge of common assault on his girlfriend, alleged to have happened in the build-up to the drink-drive incident in the early hours of September 1.
Bosley was handed an interim driving ban and the case was adjourned until November 1, to be heard at North West Wiltshire Magistrates Court in Chippenham.
