PREPARATIONS have begun for the World's Biggest Coffee Morning being held in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Among the venues holding events on September 27 are Sutton Veny Nursing Home, The Angel at Heytesbury, Barters Plant Centre in Chapmanslade and Dewey House in Warminster.
Trowbridge United Reform Church and the Britannia Building Society in Westbury are also taking part.
Oval of Westbury is clearing all its cars from the showroom and inviting people to drop by to have coffee and cake.
Sales manager Lee Harvey said: "We will also be holding a raffle during the day with various prizes to be won and for our female customers, again for a donation, they will be able to have a mini manicure in our showroom whilst they drink their coffee."
The events start at 10am. At 7.30pm the firm is offering customers a sandwich and drink with an auction of sporting memorabilia. Signed rugby shirts and football photographs are among the lots.
All money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Village Halls in Chitterne, Kingston Deverill, Longbridge Deverill and Upton Lovell will also hold coffee mornings.
