A FINE first-half performance was enough to gain all three points and record a second successive 2-0 home victory for Trowbridge.
Dave Percival gave Trowbridge the lead after just seven minutes. Tim Waylen provided a pass down the left wing and Percival went on a sizzling run that took him past three defenders before striking a fine shot from the edge of the area.
Trowbridge nearly added a second midway through the half, the ball was fed through to Steve Wickens after a tussle for possession in midfield, but Wickens saw his shot rebound from the left-hand post with the goalkeeper well beaten.
The second goal came five minutes before the break. Adam Nunn knocked a ball forward and Dave Percival took advantage of a hesitant Biddestone defender to nip in and cleverly lob the ball over the goalkeeper.
Trowbridge are at home again tomorrow when they entertain Malmesbury Vics Res, kick-off 3pm.
