CODFORD councillors may set up a chill-out zone in the village to distract would-be vandals.
Residents are desperate to halt a wave of destruction in Codford and the chill-out plan is just one idea that has been floated to get wayward youngsters back on the straight and narrow.
Other ideas include a bike track or basketball hoops. Possible sites have been earmarked.
Last week hooded vandals terrorised residents with ball-bearing guns.
Parish council chairman Romy Wyeth said: "It was felt that if the right land was available, using volunteer labour, it would be possible to provide a special area.
"The council is also looking at the possibility of a skate park. It would cost at least £25,000."
