Corrie star Tracy Shaw shows that scooters really are a stylish and efficient way to get around, as she gets on her new Vespa ET2 50cc.
Coronation Street's Maxine chose a Pistacchio Vespa, which is a brand new colour (green) and available only during 2002.
She said: "I have wanted a Vespa for ages. I think they're really trendy!"
The Vespa is a world famous style icon and is the scooter of choice for celebrities and style-leaders including Jemma Kidd and Natalie and Nicole Appleton.
Not only is it the most stylish way of getting around, it is easy to ride and cheap to run too; a full tank of petrol for the Vespa ET2 costs a fiver to fill.
This makes it not only one of the most efficient and cheap ways of commuting but is environmentally friendly as it does not contribute to the build of fumes that traffic causes because you are always on the move.
The bike has quick, responsive handling, efficient brakes and nippy acceleration, making it perfect for speeding past queues of traffic in ultimate comfort with maximum rider confidence and safety.
The Vespa ET2 is available through the Piaggio sales network from £1599 (on the road).
