CAMPAIGNERS fighting to save Trowbridge courthouse are still waiting to see if they have been successful.
MP Andrew Murrison has now been told the issue has been raised with the Lord Chancellor.
He joined council leader Peter Chalke and then mayor Jeff Osborn at a meeting with courts minister Yvette Cooper earlier in the summer and has now been told the matter is with her boss.
West Wiltshire campaigners signed a petition, which was presented to the Speaker of the House of Commons.
