TWO men posing as water board officials duped a 76-year-old woman out of cash on Wednesday.
The Steeple Ashton woman answered the door at 2pm to two men pretending to be water board officials carrying out pressure checks on meters.
One of the men kept her talking while the other rifled through her belongings stealing £40 cash.
One offender is described as 5ft 8in, 18-20-years-old, slim, clean shaven and with an Irish accent. The other as 5ft 7ins, chubby, aged 20 and wearing a brown pullover.
