Fifty anglers competed in the second Chippenham Open Challenge match on Saturday, organised by Chippenham Town Council and Chippenham Town Centre Management Partnership in conjunction with Chippenham Angling Club.
Rob's Tackle of Chippenham, donated a 13ft match rod for the heaviest specimen caught on the day, and Viper Baits donated bait and caps for all the juniors.
Results: juniors, David Beasley, 3lb 15oz; Tom Young, 2lb 11oz; Richard Shore, eight-and-a-half-ounce; adults: Brian Baker, 18lb 14oz; Andy Pratten, 17lb 9oz; R Russell, 11lb. Heaviest specimen, Brian Baker 5lb 10oz bream.
