BUSHY-bearded professor David Bellamy, one of Britain's best-loved wild-life experts, will be the guest speaker at a one-day conference at the Cotswold Water Park next month.
David, who is the patron of the park, will be speaking about its future on October 11.
The event will also discuss the restoration and sustainable development of the area, which will take place over the next few years.
David is a huge supporter of the work going on at the park between Swindon and Cricklade, which consists of around 130 lakes spread across 30 square miles.
Many of the lakes are being used for tourism and leisure, with water sports including jet skiing and sailing. A village of holiday homes has also been built.
As well as being a vital tourist attraction, the park acts as an important habitat for wildlife.
