Cre8 studios, Swindon Council's Media Resource Centre, is opening its doors this weekend for young people interested in everything from film making to website design.
Based at the Town Hall, in Regent Circus, tomorrow's event, is known Media Circus, and is open to young people aged eight to 16.
For £2.50 a session, with no previous experience necessary, you can turn up and try out animation, film making, digital photography, desktop publishing, website design and radio programme making.
The Media Circus is running at cre8 studios for five Saturdays in September and October.
Then, on November 9, there's a chance for eight to 11-year-olds to become the next Harry Potter or Gandalf the Grey at the studio's very own wizard school.
Using digital visual effects techniques, youngsters will be able to fly on a broomstick, cast spells and defeat terrible monsters.
All this can be done for just £14.
For adults, a course on video production takes place over the weekend November 30 to December 1, and video editing on the weekend of December 14 and 15.
These workshops are designed for beginners and improvers and will look at the basic skills involved in film making.
A 10-week screenwriting course is also available on Tuesday evenings from November 5.
David Collier is the screenwriter in residence at cre8 studios, who will be tutoring a course called Essential Screenwriting.
If you are interested in finding out more about cre8 studios, or booking onto one of these courses, please telephone the booking office on (01793) 463210.
