The Somalian refugee attacked in Swindon town centre was today out of intensive care. But he has yet to regain consciousness.
Abdi Muse, 36, was attacked by two men in the underpass near Debenhams in the early hours of Thursday morning. One of them was seen kicking him in the head while the other man rifled his pockets.
Senior police officers working on the inquiry yesterday met Somalian community leaders in Swindon to hear their concerns about this and other recent attacks.
