A 14-year-old boy and his sister saved their house from burning to the ground after fire broke out.
Oliver Palmer and his 18-year-old sister Dorothy were watching television when the smoke alarm went off in their Westlecot Road home.
Fire crews from Westlea, Swindon and Stratton were alerted and attended the blaze at the three-storey house, which is believed to have been started by electrical faults.
A stretch of the road was closed while emergency services brought the situation under control.
