THE Somalian refugee attacked in Swindon town centre has regained consciousness.
But he can remember little about the men who attacked him.
Abdi Muse, 36, was assaulted in the early hours of Thursday morning in the underpass near Debenhams.
One man was seen kicking him in the head while another rifled through his pockets. Both were white and in their early twenties.
Mr Muse recovered consciousness late on Saturday and has been visited by friends and family.
Osman Kanyare, 35, spokesman for Swindon's 350-strong Somali community, said there was concern about the attack, which he said was the 18th assault on a Somali in Swindon.
Anyone with information should contact Detective Inspector James Vaughan on 528111.
