Minety 2nds found themselves evenly matched with their Westbury counterparts as they drew 27-27.
The lead exchanged hands several times before the final whistle and either side could have stolen victory.
Westbury opened the scoring after 10 minutes, but Minety soon responded with a try from fly-half James Stokes.
Great running and passing set up Minety's next score, which was finished off by flanker Neil Milvane.
Westbury regained the lead by scoring and then converting a second try, but the home team edged ahead once more following a touchdown by centre Matt Burgess and conversion from Ian Northcott.
The visitors scored again and the sides turned round tied at 17-17.
Minety prop Tony Lea ran in a try after the break, to be followed by a try from full-back Northcott, but Westbury clawed their way back with a pair of tries.
Minety 2nds host Brockworth this weekend.
