Wiltshire carnival queen and princess contest
PEWSEY carnival queen Emma Dainton won the Wiltshire Carnival Queens' competition judged at the Bouverie Hall, Pewsey, on Saturday afternoon.
In joint second place were Sarah Brinkworth, representing Marlborough, and Devizes carnival queen Victoria Garbutt. The other contenders were the carnival queens from Aldbourne, Bromham, Trowbridge and Melksham.
The Wiltshire carnival princess contest was won by Benitia Wright, of Devizes. In second place was Clemency Hitchings, from Malmesbury and in third was Tasmin Stuart from Melksham.Other carnival princesses who took part were from Trowbridge, Pewsey, Marlborough, Bromham, Aldbourne, Seend and Wilton.
