BEER drinkers will be getting a little extra cheer this autumn after Wadworth Brewery, based in Devizes, launched its newest ale this month.
Malt 'n' Hops is brewed from hops the day they are picked.
Brewing director Trevor Holmes describes the newcomer as a fresh tasting bitter with an orangey tang.
He said: "This is the first beer to come from the fruit of this year's August hop harvest.
"The hops are actually brewed the day they are picked, retaining all the vigour and potency they have drawn from the soil and delivering them straight to the glass.
"Drinking the freshest possible beer while breathing in the heady aroma of hop vines is an experience no beer drinker should allow themselves to miss."
