Driver Hire Swindon a leading specialist supplier of temporary drivers to the transport industry is backing Road Safety Week by asking its drivers to sign a pledge to drive safely.
Organised by national road safety campaigners Brake, this year's Road Safety Week runs until Sunday.
Driver Hire Swindon is also joining other Driver Hire offices up and down the country who will be signing up hundreds of drivers to the pledge.
Driver Hire Swindon's Jason Johnson said: "As an organisation we want to make conditions on Britain's roads as safe as possible for all road users.
"Over the past few years the work of Brake and other road safety campaigners has reduced the numbers of people killed and injured.
"But it's a sobering fact that, despite the reduction, 10 people are killed on our roads every day of the year. That's why Driver Hire are lending their ongoing support to Brake and road safety in general."
