WILTSHIRE County Council staff are being encouraged to go green. Dozens of recycling bins have been placed around County Hall to encourage staff to recycle their rubbish.
Aluminium, cans, glass, plastic and paper can all now be recycled at County Hall in Trowbridge, as part of the council's pledge to help protect the environment.
The council is trying to win an International Standard for environmental services. It is given to organisations that have a proven track record in the field.
Sarah Welch, corporate property officer, said; "We already recycle about 80 tonnes of paper each year. We hope this scheme will increase that figure by 25 per cent."
