TOM Paget helped himself to a brace as Bar OC continued their winning start to the season with a 6-3 home win over the New Inn on Sunday.
The hosts were denied twice by the woodwork inside the first ten minutes, but soon took the lead when Paget capitalised on a poor clearance to fire home.
Ian Walker equalised for the New Inn after beating two challenges, but Fran Fife's solo effort two minutes later put Bar OC ahead for the second time. A Dave Young penalty increased the lead on the stroke of half time.
The New Inn pulled a goal back through Nick Ryan, only for Paget to head home from six yards to restore the hosts' two goal advantage.
Bob Young grabbed Bar OC's fifth goal and Pete Swales added a sixth before Walker scored a late consolation for the visitors.
