A WOMAN is appealing for the return of camera equipment containing pictures of her children taking part in a wedding ceremony.

Kay Gorski, 40, from Toothill, says she left a Sharp camcorder and Canon still camera worth £440 in the back of a taxi after a family wedding at the Blunsdon House Hotel.

She called the taxi firm and a car drove her from Upper Stratton to her home in Toot-hill.

When Kay, a merchandiser, realised the equipment was missing the next day she contacted the taxi firm and was told the driver was not aware of anything left in the car.

Her son Lewis, 11, was a page boy at the wedding on Saturday and her daughter Jessica, six, a bridesmaid and Mrs Gorski is distraught at losing the precious pictures.

She said: "I got home at the end of the night and realised the equipment was missing, I don't really mind about the camera equipment but I am really upset about losing the pictures.

"We are a very close family. It was my husband's niece's wedding and the first time my children had taken part in a wedding ceremony.

"It was our fault we lost the equipment but we really want to get it back.

"My children looked wonder-ful, Louis had lovely waistcoat on and Jessica was wearing a dark red and cream dress."

The taxi firm involved was contacted by the Evening Advertiser but did not wish to comment.
