NOW that the UK is in the earthquake belt, what did people think would happen when oil was taken from the North Sea?

If not oiled, machinery rusts and breaks. Scientists tell us there are plates beneath the earth and the same thing is happening.

If one looks at a map there is a circle of earthquake areas, all close to oil wells.

The British Isles were safe before North Sea exploration. What do other readers think?
