STUDENTS with learning difficulties from across Wiltshire will have their achievements recognised at an awards day next week.
A total of 28 students from the county have taken part in 'Pathway to Work' courses in food safety and hygiene, food preparation, hospitality and horticultural skills.
The qualifications will help the students to find permanent employment in industries such as catering and horticulture.
Wiltshire County Council runs the 'Pathway to Work' courses through Kennet Supported Employment for People with Learning Disabilities.
The training can lead to a variety of useful vocational qualifications, including NVQs.
The courses were supported financially with funding from the European Social Fund.
