I WRITE to you on behalf of The Saxon Group of The Riding for the Disabled Association based in Bradford on Avon.

There is, as you know, much generosity shown by people towards others less fortunate than themselves, most of which remains unpublicised because that is the way these good people prefer things to be.

For many years Mr and Mrs Griggs who own The Widbrook Equestrian Centre have granted the Saxon Group the use of their riding school and several of their horses in furtherance of the group's work.

Recently they organised a successful open day at their centre which was enjoyed by a considerable number of people who themselves contributed generously to the group's funds.

Furthermore, not content with the substantial help which they already give our group, Mr and Mrs Griggs generously donated to the group a considerable sum of money raised by the open day.

On behalf of our helpers and the people who derive benefit from the work of the Saxon Group of the Riding for the Disabled Association may I, on their behalf, extend through you our sincere thanks to Mr and Mrs Griggs for their generous and continuing support and to the numerous members of the public who attended the open day and contributed to our funds.

Group Organiser,
