Chippenham coach Matt Sheppard insists the mood within his squad remains upbeat despite their heavy defeat by Swanage & Wareham.
Sheppard, whose side entertain Abbey tomorrow said: "They kept possession for large parts of the game and we lost our self-belief. By the end of the game, we were deserved losers. We will use this defeat as a learning process in order to bounce back and improve.''
Reading-based Abbey will take a trip down the M4 corridor for the fifth-against fourth fixture, both sides having won and lost a game each.
In the past eight years the club have risen from the foot of Southern Counties South to finish third in South West Two East last year, one position lower than their Chippenham.
Chippenham's Swanage defeat last week ended a six-match winning league run and the last six meetings between these two are 5-1 in favour of the visitors, although Chippenham did have the upper hand in the Intermediate Cup in 2000/1.
Swindon make the long trip to relegated Olney tomorrow.
A couple of changes have been made due to injury from the last league encounter against Bicester two weeks ago.
Second row stalwart Steve Elsby replaces the injured Nick Warren while hard-hitting Paul Daniels moves across to the openside for the injured Jeff Sanders.
Jason Williams' 2nd XV are away to Fairford, while the 3rd XV have yet to confirm a fixture. The Vets entertain Cheltenham Civil Service.
