SWINDON College have signed former Wootton Bassett skipper John 'Hoss' Wall to boost their Dorset & Wilts One campaign.
Front rower Wall has representative experience with the RAF and Dorset & Wilts and will bring a vital new option to the College engine room.
Wall is unlikely to feature in tomorrow's league clash against Trowbridge but is expected to make his bow next week.
After a half-hearted Intermediate Cup display at Oldfield Old Boys last week, College travel to face a Trowbridge side who shocked Corsham on the opening league weekend.
College however, will be looking for a similar performance to the one that saw off the same opponents in the Dorset & Wilts Vase last season.
The back line has remained unchanged so far this season, but the unavailability of winger Scott Sutton sees Dave Brock make his season's first-team debut.
Key player Mark Williams starts at fly-half on the weekend of his 38th birthday, hoping to recreate the problems he caused Trowbridge's defence when they met in the last campaign.
The front row will yet again be strenthened with the return of prop Nobby Clarke.
n Supermarine will reveal German company Zimmer as their new sponsor before tomorrow's Dorset & Wilts Two North clash at home to improving Pewsey Vale.
The South Marston Trading Estate-based firm will back the club's men's and ladies' teams for the coming campaign, with the new team kit unveiled at the match.
Club chairman Martin Bryan said: "Both parties are delighted with Zimmer's decision to invest in the clubs future.
"I know that both the men and the ladies sides are putting the extra effort needed for success on the training ground this season and with Zimmer's help, I am sure that our hopes for the future can be realised.
"We have set out a five-year plan, our mini rugby section is currently booming and it is great to see the youngsters starting to get into our senior sides.''
He added: "All the sides have had a terrific start to this season's campaign and I am sure it will continue.''
After last weekend's fine Junior Cup win at Aldermaston, Marine skipper Kev Ashman has made several changes, including bringing in Nick Moulden at No 8 while Andy Darrell starts at loosehead.
Supermarine Blades are also at home to local rivals Aldbourne.
