A MOTORBIKE enthusiast from Trowbridge is pleading for witnesses to help track down his stolen bike.
Ian Wallace, 40, of Whiterow Park, was left fuming after thieves swiped his £1,600 black Honda XL.
Mr Wallace said thieves must have broken into his back yard and wheeled the bike up a neighbour's drive into a waiting van in the early hours of September 16.
Police have carried out initial inquiries but Mr Wallace said anyone with information about his stolen bike should come forward.
He said: "I have been working on it for so long. Somebody must know something.
"It is a heavy bike and can be quite hard to push around.
"The bike had a lot of sentimental value to me."
Anyone with information can contact Trowbridge police on (01225) 763101.
