A PEACE group in Trowbridge is resuming its silent vigils as the world waits for war with Iraq.
The Trowbridge Ad Hoc Peace Group, which was formed following the September 11 New York terrorist attack, will meet again on October 5.
The group plans to hold vigils in Fore Street, on Saturday mornings, from 11am to noon and is asking people to join in to make a stand against war.
The group is holding an initial meeting at 7.30pm, on October 4, at 10 Sanders Road, to design and make placards and posters to carry.
The group held a number of peace vigils in Fore Street last year which attracted people of all ages including families.
