Wootton Bassett lost their second Southern Counties South game 34-12 against a strong Frome side in an ill-tempered match at Stoneover Lane.
A sin-binning and the sending-off of wing Steve Cunningham hardly helped the home cause, although Frome had overall control.
The travelling side opened the scoring with a well-worked try and added another converted try soon after.
But Bassett hit back and quick ball allowed full-back Dave Parker to break the defence and score under the posts, allowing fly-half Millwaters an easy conversion.
Bassett continued to keep the ball alive and the back row trio of Gardiner, Dingle and Wiltshire drove forward, allowing Sean Wiltshire to touch down, Millwaters just missing the extra points.
Bassett brought second row Colin Mountford on for the second half to stabalise their scrum and, trailing only 14-12, the home pack started to improve in the set pieces.
But with 20 minutes to go, Cunningham was red-carded for punching and, with the man advantage, Frome added three further tries to stretch ahead to 29-12.
Bassett's agony worsened when, with eight minutes to go second row Mountford was sin-binned for a dubious rucking offence.
Frome again used the advantage and scored one last unconverted try.
