Managerless Corsham recorded their first Division One win of the season, beating Wellington 3-1.
While chairman Colin Hudd struggles to find a suitable replacement for Mark Godley, the players seem to be responding well to temporary bosses Dave King and Jon Freegard.
Nigel Curtis headed Corsham in front on 42 minutes and Andy Wicks' free-kick doubled the lead.
Simon Ingram's volley gave Wellington hope, but a fine solo strike from Frankie Coleman gave Corsham their first win in six.
Chairman Hudd is still talking to candidates for the vacant hot seat after Darren Perrin joined Chippenham assistant Nobby Bush in spurning the Southbank club's advances.
Former Melksham boss Perrin, youth development officer at Forest Green, decided he was unable to juggle the two positions, and said: "I was honoured to be offered the job but my full-time role at Forest Green made it impossible.
Hudd now hopes to make an appointment before the visit of Shepton Mallet on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Calne's mini resurgence came to a halt as poor defending saw them slip 3-2 to Street.
Striker Glenn Armstrong has made a huge impact since his arrival in August, and two more goals from him twice put Calne ahead.
But two late lapses in concentration allowed John Delahaye and John Hayter to turn the deficit on its head and leave Calne with a first defeat in four outings.
