After a major award last year in the National Site Magazine Awards, followed this year with further recognition at the British Housebuilder awards, the success story goes on for Swindon development company Bower Mapson.
This time it's all about a prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award, achieved by their site boss John Mumford, who managed the building of the Ashlar Court apartments, just completed in Marlborough Road, Old Town, Swindon.
North Swindon MP Michael Wills, a minister in the Lord Chancellor's Department, visited the site to present Mr Mumford with his award.
The Ashlar Court development was John's first project since joining Bower Mapson last year.
He has been a National winner in the past and is hoping to go on to the UK grand final of the competition in November.
"Developing the apartments successfully was quite a challenge," he said.
"The site fronted the main Marlborough Road and we had to be aware of the busy road and also ensure that our work in no way inconvenienced the neighbours in what is a built up area.
"We achieved both, I think, and we also completed the development right on schedule."
