A new caf bar opened in Chippenham on Thursday September 26.
The former Riverside bar has been renamed Fizz and been completely renovated. A second floor has been put in so it can now hold 250 people.
Manager Kes Larkin says it will run as a quick service caf during the day and a vodka cocktail bar on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
"Once we are up and running we will open at 9.30am and will be serving a full breakfast including a vegetarian option," he said.
The bar will be open until 11pm to begin with but the owners are applying for a 2am licence.
"We should get a late entertainment licence within three or four weeks," said Mr Larkin.
"We will then have different themed nights. Saturday will be everything from 60s music to 2002, Friday will be R & B and Thursday will be a rotational theme.."
The bar will have a dance floor and regular DJs each week.
The Riverside bar had a reputation for troublemakers but Mr Larkin said: "We have worked very closely with the police to stamp at crime here and we have very good security including CCTV cameras."
