CHARITY worker Linda Brazier, from Sutton Benger, has written a book about her life in Wiltshire villages.
Mrs Brazier, 48, has lived in Sutton Benger for 24 years and has lived in villages throughout her life.
She decided to write a book two years ago to to illustrate what village life was all about.
"Many of my friends said that after everything I had been through I should write a book about it, so eventually I did," said Mrs Brazier.
"The book is to show people that I carried on and didn't give up when bad things happened in my life and I want it to give other people encouragement as well."
The book tells of Mrs Brazier's life and includes photographs of her at different ages. It is also heavily influenced by her faith in God.
But she decided to change the names of people in the book so she would not upset anyone.
"Some people may still recognise themselves in the book but their names will be different," she said.
The book, called Life In A Village is on sale for £2 at village post offices and shops in the Chippenham area.
"I also want to support village shops and post offices through the book and 25p of each copy will go to charity. The post office or local shop can keep this for themselves if they like or give it to a charity, it is up to them," said Mrs Brazier.
